Trading Stocks and Derivatives as a Business

There is an opportunity or scope for trading stocks and derivatives as a full time or part time business. The entry barriers are small.

But what is the scope for making money. Many studies done by regulators point out that more than 90 percent of the people who open accounts to do trading incur losses and get of the activity.  Scientific thinking on the subject came out with efficient markets hypothesis according to which it is extremely difficult to predict future stock price movements and make money out of those predictions.

But still there are many active traders around the world who claim to make money and enjoy their activity on full time or part time basis.  Stock brokers are there to do transactions for arbitrageurs, investors and traders. They provide information and education to all types of clients.

Charles Schwab provides the following training webinars for its clients in active trading. The programs cover all important methods used in active trading. Schwab offers a 30 day free trail of these training modules.
